The Campanas de America Mariachi Education Foundation will host a benefit dinner and dance to raise money for scholarships for students studying Mariachi Music at Palo Alto College.
The dinner and dance will take place at the Pearl Brewery Stables at 312 Pearl Parkway at 6pm on September 19th.
Ladies are encourage to dress in traditional Mexican clothing and men should wear Guayaberas.
A donation of $50 is suggested.

The Blind Boys of Alabama and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band continue to bring attention to the rich musical heritage of New Orleans with their "Down by the Riverside" tour, coming to the beautiful Majestic Theatre, Saturday, November 22 at 8pm.
These two historic institutions join together to share with audiences the jubilance and richness of New Orleans as The Big Easy continues to rebuild and revitalize.

Dave Ramsey will teach students financial responsibility, help eliminate debt and empower people struggling with financial hardships.

Bring your blankets and chairs out to enjoy a free movie screening in Woodlawn Park on Saturday, September 13.
Picnic baskets are welcome and there will be concessions available for purchase.

The Woman's Club of San Antonio will raise money for scholarships and and the organization with a fashion show and luncheon on Wednesday, September 17th, at 10:30am.
The event will take place at the San Antonio Country Club at 4100 North New Braunfels at 10:30am.
